If you know where this is then you probably think I'm crazy. Which like I said before, I am. Paulette! I think all of those Harry Potter people are crazy for real though. They go around saying "My life is now complete now that the series is over." How ridiculous... how can you define your life by a childish movie. Oh, please. MY life is now complete now that I have successfully eaten macarons from Paulette. I don't think you understand... These things melt in your mouth. Extremely smooth. Green=Earl Grey Tea. Orange=Passionfruit. Beige=French Vanilla. Beige with stripe=Cappuccino. I think I can die happy now. Umm... after I try the other flavors too... that is, if I don't go broke first. One macaron=1.70. My total was nearly 7 dollars because of this crazy tax business that goes on. And those things are PUNY. Though you know what they say, small things are more fun to eat.
Oh and there's my kuri-pan hanging out in the corner trying to get into the shot as well. That stuff was really good too! For those of you that don't know what kuri-pan is, it's a type of Japanese pastry filled with sweet chestnuts. What most foreigners know is an-pan which is short for anko-pan meaning red bean bread (this is also sweet). For dinner/lunch/breakfast (I guess) I went to a vegetarian restaurant. You know, I feel like I might as well be vegetarian. All I eat is vegetables anyways. It's weird because I actually crave for them. I'm such an awkward child. I would be the one that's like "Yeah, my favorite vegetable is eggplant" as everyone stares at me with a "...wth..." expression. Eh. Eggplant is alright. Oh anyways, that wasn't my point. My point was I had an avocado edamame salad, miso soup, and dessert--which was better than both the miso soup and the salad, but cost just as much as the salad. Duo of mango pudding and green tea pudding (with red beans). Yum. I think I'm super satisfied. I can hardly feel my back hurting because I'm so happy.
Oh, by the way, those are pronounced mac-uh-roh-n. Or like macaroni with out the "ee" sound. People get them confused with macaroons which are little coconut pastries. Yes, now you have learned something. Good, good.
