Has anyone ever been obsessed on those "I Spy" types of games where you have to find the hidden object? I couldn't sleep last night, so I downloaded this one hidden object app and ended up becoming very annoyed at the stupid game. It's this common trend in all hidden object games for them to tell you to find things that you don't even know exist. For example: Find the bearwe. And this is what goes on in my mind...
1. "What the freak is a bearwe?!"
2. "Okay, fine click random parts of the screen and hope I find it"
3. "NOO. They deduct points for the wrong thing!!?"
4. "14 seconds left!!!"
5. "AUGH I GIVE UP." -> show answer
The picture that comes up is a wheelbarrow.
6. "The heck... Google that"
"barrow is a derivation of the old English bearwe which was a device for carrying tools" Are you kidding me? If you want me to find a wheelbarrow then just say so. >:o rigged. I deleted the app.
Sometimes I feel like certain things should be common sense and it irritates me when people are too dumb to realize that there are certain things that they should be doing, but aren't because they lack common sense and decency.
I asked one of my professors if she wanted the essay written in MLA or APA and she said "I don't understand what you mean, can you clarify?" How do you not know what I mean?! I sent her a link of a picture of both MLA and APA (...but I mean, you would expect someone with a PhD to know the difference...). I don't even know why APA exists (to irritate me, obviously). It's so dang useless. Who needs an abstract?! Just read my #(@# paper. -_- I'm so irritated today.
