I've pretty much had a bunch of blog posts lined up to write, but my internet has been failing me constantly, so I didn't get a chance to write them and now I've forgotten what I wanted to tell you guys. One of my rantings did have to do with the internet though. For some reason Comcast decides to stop working at around 2am and doesn't start working until about 6:30am. That's completely ridiculous. You can't just assume everyone is normal and will be sleeping during that time. What about the people that are procrastinating on studying? What about the people that can't sleep? What about the people that want to write angry blog posts at 3am?
What else I'm bothered by are those stupid milk commercials that talk about how many ingredients there are in soy milk. Dumb Americans are going to start believing that soy milk is bad for them because there are "so many ingredients" but things like B12, calcium carbonate, Riboflavin, carageenan? Are you people stupid? B12 = vitamin necessary unless you want anemia, CC = common calcium substitute, R = micronutrient (ALSO found in milk) and carageenan is used as a humectant (helps retain moisture) in most baked goods. Clearly soy milk needs to be fortified in order for it to have equal or greater quantities of nutrients than milk because soybeans are vegetables, but if anything they're promoting soy milk--at least to the people that understand what they're talking about. Augh. I don't know why I'm so irritated by this. Maybe it's because the guy in the commercial looks like such a doofus. Someone clearly wasn't a science major.
I honestly haven't found a new job that I actually like. I realized that I accidentally applied for a few internships. Oops. I think at this period in my life with all the experience that I've accumulated I should get payed for breathing. I'm kidding. Man, what I would give to be Gordan Ramsay and to get paid for swearing at people. That's the good life.
