I don't know why, but recently I've been missing educational computer games. I know it's kind of a weird thing to miss. Does anyone remember Gizmos and Gadgets? The Carmen Sandiego series? Oregon Trail (where you would always get dysentery)? I wish I could go back to those childhood years of doing nothing and worrying about whether or not you find all of the pieces of the car in order to complete your mission. Back in those days our primary concern was whether or not we had to eat giant and mysterious wads of vegetables.
There was this one time when I really didn't want to eat it so I thought I was clever by stuffing all of the vegetable into my mouth and going into the bathroom to spit it out in the toilet. Smart child I was... I forgot to flush. I got into so much trouble. It probably resulted in five hours of kneeling on the ground as punishment or something of the likes.
Honestly, I was a ridiculous kid. I have so many stories of me being a rebel and getting stuck in the weirdest situations. For some reason I thought it would be fun to see if I could fit between the gap in the back of those fold-up chairs and I got stuck. The chair had to be taken apart. You would think that I learned my lesson, but apparently not. A few months later I got stuck between the stair railings. That had to be taken apart as well. Does anyone else have similar stories or is this just me? Somehow I feel like it's the latter.
