Slim shady

Okay, yeah. So my internet hasn't been working since the last time I updated. I have pretty much been living like a caveman these past few... weeks? It turns out that they gave me a crappy modem initially and so they had to come and install a new one. Ridiculous cheap people. At least the technician was really nice. It wasn't like that creepy one that hit on me and gave me his number. We had a conversation about life and about how passion and realistic goals of the future rarely ever align. Depressing conversation, but it's kind of nice knowing that I'm not the only one that thinks this way. However, it's sad that he still maintains this perspective at his age. Does that mean that no one can be truly happy in the future? I guess we'll see...

Not a whole lot has happened lately. Just the typical classes, labs, work, etc. does anyone else have midtems already? Nothing very exciting ever happens in my life. A trip to Safeway is my idea of an adventure--which reminds me I did go to buy a giant mushroom the other day. You know, those portobello mushrooms... they're very large. I had difficulty finishing it, but it could also be because my stomach shrank.
