Rain on me

The biochem midterm was... ridiculous in a good way. I was over-prepared. I got scared because the problems that she assigned in the book were really hard and I couldn't understand them, so I spent the night working out problems. Well, I ended up finishing the test in 12 minutes which made me very confused because I kept looking for more pages, but there were none to be found.

Don't you love it when you leave your umbrella in your car after you park in the parking structure, walk down the stairs past the overhang and out into open sky and a large concentration of ominous rain clouds start gathering right above you and start peeing on you? It's wonderful really. I knew it was going to happen. I KNEW IT. Every time I ask myself whether or not I should bring my umbrella... sigh.

iPhones are dangerous. I slipped off of the last three steps coming down the stairs from my apartment. I screamed and then ran into a guy carrying his plastic laundry basket, which I proceeded to bump my head on. Yeah, I don't know... I hope it was clean laundry at the very least. Speaking of iPhones you guys have probably heard by now that Steve Jobs passed away. I was so shocked. I'm not an Apple enthusiast, but I feel like I've been living with Steve Jobs as my neighbor (and this has nothing to do with the fact that Apple headquarters are in Cupertino or that I drive past their buildings several times--usually to go to Chipotle--cough) for all of my life. The first iPods came out in middle school and I got the iPod Classic photo 60GB. I thought I was so cool at the time. Ahem... and then it broke. Then I got the iPod Shuffle. Yes, the FIRST shuffle that I still have (and still works! which is incredible). One thing led to another iTouch, iPhone, macbook, etc. Anyway, what I mean to say is I've been living (and putting up) with Steve jobs for the past 10 years. It's a bit surreal knowing that he's gone. Given that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in '04 it's pretty remarkable that he was able to live this long... but still... he was just one of those people that you would never expect to die.
