Stop it

Okay after I blog I seriously need to go, but I have to... express my concern about something first.

What the heck man. You know what I hate? I hate it when people automatically think that they're better than you when they're older than you are. Do people really think that age matters? Does one year matter? Does two? I hate it when people have superiority complexes when they're not even that great themselves. I hate telling people which year I am and I never ask people which year they are (they choose to tell me themselves). Why? Because it doesn't matter and I don't care to be evaluated based on my age. I think knowledge is a more accurate indicator of the level of respect someone should receive. While it's true that anyone would prefer to talk to people around the same age group, +/- three years or so isn't going to make a difference. If someone is 5 years older than me I automatically respect them because I assume that they're more experienced/knowledgeable about life in general (though this isn't always the case...), but the thing is there are people younger than me that are more experienced about topics that I'm clueless about (anything BA related, basically) and I feel that I can learn from them despite the fact that they're a few years younger, whereas I'm probably more experienced in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry than most people older than me. My point is... you can always learn something from people due to the fact that everyone has a different forte, so before you go around looking down on people because you're older than them think about that for a sec and don't be a douche.

Sorry, that was a mouthful, but I had to get that off my hairy chest. Some people really disgust me. -_-

Blah. I'll post something more interesting after I get back. Later~
